Sparkle Net Worth: Sparkle is an American R&B singer who has a net worth of $600 thousand. Sparkle was born Stephanie Edwards on May 13, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois. She got started in music by singing with her family and in her church's gospel choir. She got a big break when she was discovered by R&B megastar R. Kelly in 1989. She was quickly signed to Kelly's Rockland record label. Her 1998 self-titled debut album reached #2 on the Billboard 200, making her to only artist to release a hit record on Rockland. The album was soon certified platinum. Her biggest hit from the record was a duet with R. Kelly called "Be Careful".

Sparkle's second album struggled after she and Kelly had creative differences. She was released from Rockland and the album, which was titled "Told You So", was released to little fanfare on Motown Records. In 2002, the Chicago police alerted Sparkle to a sex tape which allegedly featured her 14 year old niece and R. Kelly. Sparkle subsequently testified at R. Kelly's criminal trial. More recently she provided background vocals for Toni Braxton's Vegas show and in January 2019 Sparkle was one of the main commentators on the Lifetime docuseries "Surviving R. Kelly".
