Patricia Wettig was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in December 1951. She graduated from Temple University and later received a Master of Fine Arts in playwriting from Smith College.

Her screen debut came in the 1982 TV movie Parole. From 1986 to 1987 Patricia had a recurring role as Joanne on the television series St. Elsewhere. One of her best known roles came starring as Nancy Krieger Weston in the TV series thirtysomething from 1987 to 1991. In 1996 Wettig starred as Judge Justine Parkes in the series Courthouse. From 1998 to 1999 she starred as Eleanor Riggs in the TV series L.A. Doctors. From 2002 to 2004 Wettig starred as Dr. Judy Barnett in the TV series Alias. She starred as Caroline Reynolds in the series Prison Break from 2005 to 2007. From 2006 to 2011 she starred as Holly Harper in the TV series Brothers & Sisters. Patricia appeared in 85 episodes of Brothers & Sisters between 2006 and 2011.

Personal Life

Patricia her husband Ken Olin have been married since 1982. Ken also starred on thirtysomething and "Brothers & Sisters." They have two children including Roxy who was part of the MTV series "The City" and had a small role on "Brothers & Sisters." Ken is a successful into a producer/director. He produced and directed episodes of "Alias," "The West Wing," "Felicity" and more. He is an executive producer on the smash hit NBC show "This is Us."

Real Estate

The Olin/Wettigs are quietly very successful real estate entrepreneurs. In 2013 they sold a home in Santa Monica for just under $7 million. In 2017 they sold NYC co-op for $2.6 million.
