He also competed under the name Marcus Alexander Bagwell. He made his professional wrestling debut in 1990 and was trained by Dusty Rhodes among others.
Bagwell competed in World Championships Wrestling from 1991 to 2001 and in the World Wrestling Federation (WWE) in 2001.
