What is Alijan Ibragimov's Net Worth?

Alijan Ibragimov is a Kyrgyzstan-born Uigur oligarch who has a net worth of $1.9 billion. Along with his longtime friends and partners (Alexander Mashkevich and Patokh Chodiev), Alijan Ibragimov is said to form the circle of oligarchs in Kazakhstan known as the "Trio". Together they hold a major share in Eurasian National Resources Corporation (ENRC), one of the world's leading natural resources groups. Headquartered in London, ENRC now operates a high number of metals assets in Kazakhstan and Africa, as well as plentiful mining operations in Eastern Europe and Asia. However, the company's growth doesn't end here as it continues to explore the sale of international assets.

Throughout 2010 the company managed to acquire 50.5% of Camrose Resources Limited and 50% interest in Bahia Minerals BV. In addition to ENRC, the trio also is active in the mining, oil & gas, and banking sectors in Kazakhstan. Apart from his business, Alijan Ibragimov is devout Muslim with 6 sons. Being a Kyrgyzstan-native, he only moved to Kazakhstan when the group of three decided to pursue business interests there. As of March 2013, he is the 3rd richest man in Kazakhstan.
