Manzo originally planned to focus on a law degree but dropped out during his first year after achieving only a 1.9 GPA. He attributes his struggles at Seton Hall Law School to a learning disability. His attempt to re-enroll was chronicled on one of the seasons of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," but it ended with him having to wait the required two years before reapplying for admission to the school. He also appeared in the "Real Housewives" spinoff "Manzo'd With Children" with the rest of his family.

Early Life

Albie Manzo was born Albert Joseph Manzo IV on May 27, 1986, in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. He is the eldest child of Albert Manzo and Caroline Manzo. After completing his degree at Fordham, he enrolled at Seton Hall Law School for a short time but did not do particularly well in school and decided to drop out after a year.

Career

Much of Manzo's early career experience took place working under his father, who owned a popular and upscale event space in New Jersey. Albie did jobs like valet parking, helping manage guests and bookings, and washing dishes.

In 2011, Manzo started the BLK Beverages brand with his younger brother, Chris. The business was centered around selling black alkalized water which purported a number of health benefits. The business had expanded to numerous major stores across the country but later ran into some legal trouble and folded.

In addition to various business endeavors, Manzo has appeared on television due to his mother's role on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" beginning in 2009. He was a very popular person on the show, as he was often seen trading sarcastic remarks with his brother. In 2011, he also landed his own web series with his brother called "Boys to Manzo."

The company focuses on hydro-preservation in order to preserve the freshness of the flowers for much longer than typical flowers. The flowers are delivered by mail and last without sunlight or water for a year. He also has hosted his own podcast called "Dear Albie." The show features questions from listeners and advice from Manzo.

Personal Life

Manzo's personal life was closely followed on both "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" and "Manzo'd with Children." A common plot theme as the shows went on involved his pursuit of love and his mother's hope for him to find a girlfriend. He was connected to a few girlfriends, like Lindsey Andrews and Brittany Parks, but nothing very serious until he was in his mid-30s. In August 2020, his mother, Caroline, confirmed that both her sons were in relationships. It is not known exactly when Albie began dating his girlfriend, Chelsea DeMonaco, but they announced their engagement in April 2023. Manzo enjoys physical fitness and working out.
